One thing that this time of year brings plenty of is pictures! Cameras are everywhere this time of year. Pictures get snapped every day but they really pile up over the holidays! Everyone wants to capture that perfect moment, that surprised look on your sons face when he sees Santa’s gifts or the family together again.
With the onset of digital cameras, you don’t have to guess as to whether or not it’s going to be a great shot. Of course, one of the other benefits of digital is that you can make great shots even better with photoshop. Furthermore, you have almost unlimited film as it’s easy to upload to the computer and format the card.
The thing is just like everything else. Ever great invention brings a series of choices. You’ll need to do your homework as there are many great options. You’ll want to take a look at the Digital SLR Cameras and, personally, I’m partial to Canon EOS. Mine serves me very well, takes great photos and has a nice 35mm lens.
The only problem with my camera is that it’s a little bulky. Sometimes, even though I really like having over 10 mega pixels to zoom into photoshop, I just don’t like lugging a bigger camera around… so I keep a second digital camera that has less mega pixels but is easy to carry (as my wife will not let me go anywhere without the camera!).
