Find Lost Data!

I was pretty pissed off last week when I turned on my computer and got a hard drive failure. Is there anything worse? I had tons of games saved. All of my music ripped. And, of course, I had my notes for all of the video game cheats research that I had been working on. Of course, I do backup my data. But it had been a few weeks since my last backup. And, needless to say, I was not that excited about having to piece together everything that I had been working on this month that I did not have a backup for,
I ran across this company called data recovery that offers a service to help you (or me in this case) find data that is lost in situations just like the one I was in, I did some research, and they seemed to be a ledgit company. I was intrigued to say the least.
My wife uses a Mac, and I (of course) use a PC. Seriously, I know the Macs look much cooler. But if you are serious about gaming, and I have to assume that if you are reading my blog you are probably a gamer. Then, you also probably rely on your PC for powering your games. Nonetheless, in case you do have a mac, the good news is that they also offer mac data recovery so I guess you could say they are equal opportunity.
The truth is that I did not end up using their service because I turned my computer back on and for some unknown, and very lucky, reason, my harddrive booted just fine. My games were in tack. My notes from all of my gaming cheats were fine. And, I was back to being a very happy camper.
I wanted to mention this service though because their services range from exactly what I needed all they way up to doing server data recovery which is beyond my needs, but might be closer to what you are running at hoem or at work.
In case you are not as lucky as I was. And, in case you run into data loss issues. This may be a good company to drop into your favorites!
Later…
Thanks!
