Now, there is also the other side of winning, which is losing. I know, I know. You have never been on that side of the gamming equation, right? Well, I hate to admit it, but I have for sure. If it doesn’t kill you, it makes you stronger. Or, something like that.

Recently, I lost a big game to my Brother. And, the deal was that the loser had to buy a nice gift for the winner. They way we play is that each bet gets progressively bigger, so I had to set the anti by getting him something that really was nice. So, I ended up getting him a movado watch. It’s beautiful, and the site I got it from had some crazy good pricing, and his present arrived within a couple days.

Now, as you can imagine, my goal is to make sure I win the next round. I’m hoping that the watch I got him sets the bar high enough so that I get something equally (or ideally better) than the nice piece of metal he has wrapped proudly around his wrist!
